Seven-key reproduction by John Hanchet of original by Charles Rust of Lyon, France (early 19th century). This bassoon is tuned to A=432 or C= 256, and plays with a warm sound. The bassoon is in good condition, well taken care of--the bore is oiled with almond oil every six months, and the keys are polished. The instrument comes with 2 bocals, and a case.
