Kopp Reeds

Bassoon by Heckel, Biebrich, serial #49xx, 1911

Owned and played for decades by Dr. Loren Bartlett, professor of bassoon at University of Northern Colorado. Current owner purchased it from Keith Bowen in 2017 to use for historical performance of late-Romantic repertoire. This unusual instrument has French design elements, but is not a “world-system” or a French-system bassoon. Please note, the instrument has not been modernized with high D and E keys. Includes two well-matched post war Heckel bocals (C1 and CC1), and rectangular hard case with cover.

Asking $7500US.
